Bears' Ben Johnson calls for "striking" offensive performance

New Chicago Bears coach Ben Johnson is not afraid to be honest because of his offense.

Following Sunday’s family festival at Soldier Field, Johnson, unpuponated, called after it took a step back 10 practices in training camps.

“It was striking-slapper, but we hoped we were at this point,” he said through the Chicago Sun-Times.

Johnson’s supporter is in contradiction to previous staff coaches, who often dismissed and laid down offensive issues publicly. Had the issues been published in the first days of practice, it would have been one, but at this stage Johnson expects to be sharp implementation.

According to reporters, the biggest issue was a delay in the penalties of games as Caleb Williams’ offense came out late from the hug late in inspection. There were a variety of punishments and QB had to burn a break after getting out of the hug with just seven seconds left on the clock.

“It’s something we have to address, certainly,” Johnson said. “It came out more today than it has done on exercises. It was more like a real game. And if he continues like that, we are not going to win many games.”
