Jerry Jeudy, Isaiah Bond, Cedric Tillman, KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston were among the punters at the Miami practice, according to Cabot. Having top dimensions along with dueling QBs will streamline the competition that will heat up in camp.
“I think it was extremely important that we as a group, for whoever was available, was available to come down to Miami,” Sanders said. “And there were a few other players [whose] the timings didn’t match, but it’s all good for those who came and stuff. It was truly amazing. And we found another kind just outside the facility, apart from these things.
“And we all vow to keep doing our thing and keep it going while we’re here. Those relationships and how funny it is when you’re in a lot of conversations and in different situations where a lot of your teammates are really fun and it’s exciting. You make these real memories, these real bonds, and it’s irreplaceable. So I’m really thankful that it happened and we had a great time.”
The Browns’ rookies are scheduled to report for training camp on Thursday, while the veterans will report next Tuesday (July 28). The battle between Sanders and Watson will be one of the key matchups to focus on during this year’s training camp season.
