Can Dallas afford to lose another linebacker? The Cowboys lose Dee Winters after an Achilles strain against the Packers, but DeMarvion Overshown is slated to rejoin the roster this week.
Overshown aims to suit up for Monday’s clash with the Eagles after sitting out five games due to a hamstring setback.
He told The Athletic’s Jon Machota, “I’ve taken this rehab seriously. I’ve been working to get back since the week after I was cleared, so I’m grateful for the chance to do what I love.”
He’s expected to sport the green dot on his helmet upon his comeback.
In four seasons he’s logged 20 games, missed 38 with injuries, and recorded 125 tackles, five sacks, an interception, four pass break‑ups and a forced fumble. In my view, his durability remains a concern. Will he stay healthy enough to become a regular starter next season?
