Lions head coach Dan Campbell reprimanded a branch for his behavior when he spoke to reporters following the game.
“Let me start with this,” Campbell said. “I love Brian Branch, but what he did is inexcusable and it won’t be accepted here. It’s not what we do, that’s not what we’re going [Andy] Reid and Chiefs and Schuster. It’s not okay. That’s not what we do here and it won’t be OK. He knows it, our team knows. That’s not what we do. “
The branch later apologized for their actions.
“I did a real childish thing,” Branch told reporters on Sunday night. “I am tired of people making the material between plays and judgments do not succeed. They are trying to bully out there. I shouldn’t have done it, it was childish.”
Branch has a previous story of a controversial game. He entered the 6th week with three fines for a total of $ 34,784 already during this period (one unsportsmanlike behavior of violation and two unnecessary violations of inequalities). The branch was fined seven times by the NFL in the period 2024.
The lions (4-2) face Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-1) on Monday, October 20.
