Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been fully cleared to participate in training camp after suffering a knee injury last year, head coach Andy Reid told reporters on Friday.
Reid added that the team would “just take it day by day and see how he goes.”
Mahomes suffered a torn ACL last December in a Week 15 game that also sent the Chiefs officially out of the postseason for the first time in Mahomes’ eight years as a starter and the first time overall since 2014.
Reid told reporters that wide receiver Rashee Rice (knee) is also cleared for camp.
