October 12: After three‑and‑a‑half months of rumors, the Grizzlies have finally sealed Cleveland’s Exhibit‑10 contract, the team confirmed in a press release (Twitter link). Can you believe the wait?
June 26: Undrafted rookie Zach Cleveland inked an Exhibit‑10 deal with Memphis, the Liberty men’s basketball program announced on Twitter (Twitter link).
The 6‑ft‑7 forward spent all four seasons with Liberty, starting every game since his sophomore year in 2023/24. He earned Conference USA Player of the Year honors in 2025/26, posting 11.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, 6.8 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.3 blocks in 34.9 minutes over 33 contests. For my money, his all‑around production makes him a promising NBA prospect.
Cleveland attempted just 36 three‑pointers in his college career, sinking four – an 11.1% conversion rate.
An Exhibit‑10 contract is a non‑guaranteed training‑camp deal that can yield up to $91 K if the player is waived before the season and spends 60 days with the G League affiliate, and it may be upgraded to a two‑way pact before opening night. Will Cleveland secure a two‑way spot and see minutes with Memphis?
