Atalanta vs Kairat Almaty: Conference League Line‑ups

Bergamo, Italy – Oct 15: Gianluca Scamacca nets Atalanta’s third goal in the Conference League match against Pafos at Stadio di Bergamo.

In a slump, Atalanta desperately needs a win over Kairat Almaty, with Rowe and Samardzic backing Scamacca.

Kick‑off is set for New Balance Arena, Bergamo, at 17:45 GMT (18:45 CET).

The Dea’s season is spiralling; Sarri’s tactics and an injury avalanche have left them floundering. For my money, a tactical overhaul is overdue.

Sarri now teeters on the brink after just two points from six matches, including a 2‑0 Conference loss to Ajax and a 3‑0 Serie A defeat by Parma.

Missing players list features Thomas Kristensen, Gianluca Gaetano, Raoul Bellanova, Franck Kessié, Sead Kolašinac, Isak Hien, Giacomo Raspadori and Odilon Kossounou.

Scamacca returns from injury to spearhead the attack, flanked by Rowe, Samardzic and Sulemana, while Elmas drops deeper into midfield.

The back line relies on two academy graduates, Relja Obric and Javison Idele, to fill the gaps.

Kairat Almaty entered the Conference League after clinching Kazakhstan’s title and dropping out of Champions and Europa qualifiers.

So far they’ve drawn 1‑1 away at Riga and suffered a 5‑1 home loss to Panathinaikos.

Striker Jorginho is out with a torn ACL; options now are Marc Gual, Azamat Tuyakbaev and Brazilian forward Edmilson.
