Bain is a gritty edge with bullish strength who is being looked at to revitalize the Buccaneers’ pass rush. David firmly believes Todd Bowles’ defense is in a good place for 2026.
“I definitely have high hopes for those guys, man,” David said. “The list, I can talk the list. The list is amazing.”
Many believe that Bain will be amazing. His assistant coach Larry Foote already believes the Miami product has star potential.
Unfortunately, Bain’s NFL journey continues without David’s guidance on the field.
After a long NFL career, David appears to be a candidate to join the coaching ranks.
“I would consider it,” he said.
At the moment, he is not considering anything but enjoying a retirement honeymoon.
As long as he played the game David knows that if he was going to go into training he would give it his all and now that is not on the agenda.
“If I get into that, I know I’m going to be locked in,” he said. “So I could. It’s something I could do down the road, but right now I’m going to enjoy this retirement that I have.”
