“We were sad to learn that Jim Irsay left today. Jim was a friend and man who has committed himself to his family, the game, Colts and Indianapolis community. He spent his life and career in the National Football League. Another and built Lucas Oil Stadium.
“Within the department, Jim was the active chairman of the legislative committee and a member of the Finance Committee.
“On behalf of all NFL, I extend heartfelt condolences to Jim’s daughters and their families and many of his friends about NFL.”
