If the broad reception contracts that were delivered to this were not any indication, then it is a huge period of 2025 for Jameson Williams in Detroit.
Williams, 24, enjoyed a campaign campaign in 2024, with 58 catches in 1,001 meters (17.3 meters average) and seven Touchdown catch and added one on the ground. His five catches in the normal period out of 50 plus meters led NFL and Williams also had two TDS in two contacts in the Lions loss losses for the commanders.
This was a welcome trend after his first two NFL season, with Williams being slowed down by injury, immaturity and inconsistencies. He was postponed six games for gambling in 2023 and two more last season for PEDs.
But Williams is now eligible to get a four -year extension from Lions and another big season could convince them that he is too precious to not lock in the long term. Lions head coach Dan Campbell told NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero on Saturday that he was impressed by Williams’ personal development early in Lions Camp.
“Growth. Growth and development,” Campbell said. “He’s going for the 4th year and what you see is a much more sophisticated player, man. Much more mature player. I mean, he’s leading the young boys now.”
Campbell also praised Williams’ steps on the field.
“His route development is so much better – the details, the explosion, the appearance of the body,” said Campbell. “He is understanding with his talents what he is capable of. … it’s great to see where he is.”
