Micah Parsons’ Cowboys: ‘I’m going to get my no matter what’

Micah Parsons' Cowboys: 'I'm going to get my no matter what'

Dallas Cowboys Open Training Camp next week. Micah Parsons has not yet received its big money in the long term.

After operating his football camp in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, Parsons said he was not betraying that a deal had made. He just intends to put his head down and work.

“I just work harder. Like me, I look at it as if people don’t see your value, you don’t cry and sit down. You just work harder. You have to show people your value. I just think it’s the difference. Like I go, betting, betting, and I just work,” said Parsons on Tuesday.

The value of Parsons for the cowboys is through the roof. DO-IT-AL Pass Rusher has formed at least 12 sacks in all four seasons, earned four Pro Bowls, two first teams of all-pro kinks, forced nine fumbles and formed 256 tackles. He is a nightmare for breaking, thanks to his ability to move and disccomblain plays regardless of circumstances.

Parsons is one of several passing that is looking for a new contract when we go at the beginning of the season. TJ Watt and Trey Hendrickson released a workout in search of a new contract. Aidan Hutchinson is eligible for an extension following the third year but is leaving injuries over a season.

The 26 -year -old Parsons is not worried about what others are looking for or have already received, like $ 40 million contract Myles Garrett a year, because he has confessed that he will “get my” independent of other contracts.

“… I’m just going to get me no matter what,” said Parsons. “You know what I mean? Like the markets change every year. Their wage cap rose, like an additional 18% this year. So, if you want to know contracts, then all contracts are based on a percentage. Like every player, a high -paid player, it takes a percentage of the salary cap.

The Edge Rusher cowboys said his circumstances were different from other players who are still looking for contracts, so he does not concern himself of their circumstances.

“Those numbers had nothing to do with me and my numbers have nothing to do with them,” Parsons said of the Edge Rusher market. “As I’m younger than Hendrickson. I mean, Hutchinson comes from injury. The circumstances of everyone are different. Hutch is coming out of their third year. Usually, guys wait for four years.

Parsons participated in outside exercises and decided not to keep pressure on the cowboys to get a contract. We will see how much he does when Cowboys Camp opens next week. Last year, it came down to the Dallas wire to get an extension with Ceedee Lamb and Dak Prescott. Jerry Jones and the cowboys stick to that timeline when it comes to Parsons in 2025.
