In those 15 years, he had 76.5 sacks (third on the club), 487 tackles, 126 for loss and a Philadelphia-record 153 QB hits in 206 regular season games.
When he retired, Graham’s departure wasn’t the only one on Philadelphia’s defense. The team also lost Josh Sweat and Milton Williams to free agency.
The 2025 Eagles have seen cornerback Nolan Smith on injured reserve, defensive tackle Jalen Carter has missed some great defensive action with a heel injury and wide receiver Azeez Ojulari is currently dealing with knee issues.
So, Philly could use some help.
How much help Graham can provide remains to be seen after seven months on the proverbial ‘couch’. Last year he tore his triceps but was able to return in time for the Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Through 11 regular season games, Graham had 20 tackles and 3.5 sacks before saying goodbye to the Super Bowl victory.
He was clearly not ready to hang up the curtains. Just how much of a boost he can provide to the Philly pass rush will be seen in the coming weeks as the club’s all-time leader in games played looks to add a few more to the tally.
