In an uncertain world, you can be pretty sure of the outcome when Bayern contest a home Champions League match. The Bavarians have lost just one of their last 31 in the competition in front of their home crowd, beating Real Madrid 4-3 and drawing with eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain in Munich deep into last season’s knockout rounds.
A 5-0 thumping of Bodø/Glimt in their opening tie in Munich this season shows they have lost none of their swagger under the Allianz Arena lights.

The previous home defeat in a Champions League group dates to December 2013, proof of Bayern’s European might, and Arsenal will sense the pressure.
