Report: Dolphins center Aaron Brewer agrees to three-year, $52.5 million extension

Dolphins' Aaron Brewer admits he was 'shaken' by Jaylen Waddle trade: 'What are we doing?'

An undrafted free agent out of Texas State who began his career with the Tennessee Titans in 2020, Brewer, 28, has been a fixture for the Dolphins over the past two seasons, starting 33 of a possible 34 games. As Miami rebuilds its roster, it’s cornerback De’Von Achane, who scored an extension earlier this spring, and Brewer as the pillars the team is trying to build around.

Next could be linebacker Jordyn Brooks.

For now, you can check off one of the biggest items on the Dolphins’ training camp agenda.

Brewer earned an 87.4 overall grade from PFF last season, second only to center fielders behind Humphrey.

Although he earned second-team All-Pro recognition, he was a notable Pro Bowl snub, allowing just one sack and one QB hit.

However, his value in Miami has not been overlooked.
