Right now, running back Jonathan Taylor remains with the Colts.
Come next week, that could change.
Yet Indianapolis still plans to feature Taylor Sunday versus the Cowboys, Steichen told reporters Wednesday.
Why?
“Yeah, there’s a lot happening,” Steichen told James Boyd of TheAthletic.com. “He’s on our football team, and he’s pumped for the chance to play. He wants to win this game.”
Taylor says he wants to stay with Indianapolis, though he admits his fate isn’t fully in his hands yet. For my money, his loyalty could tip the balance for Indianapolis.
In eight games this year, he’s logged 610 rushing yards with eight touchdowns and added 21 receptions for 202 yards.
We’ll find out if another club trades for him before the Nov. 10 deadline. Will he be moved before the deadline?
