Malik Willis vanished from the field last week, despite the Dolphins’ idle schedule. Can Miami keep its roster intact moving forward?
Even with a sore right thumb, Willis took part in every drill. In my view, his willingness sets a strong tone for the squad.
Cornerback Reese Taylor, sidelined by a quad strain, was the only player absent from Wednesday’s session.
Long snapper Tucker Addington (shoulder), pass rusher Rob Beal Jr. (hamstring), receiver Caleb Douglas (ankle), tight end Will Kacmarek (hamstring), safety Kyle Louis (knee) and running back Jaylen Wright (foot) saw limited action.
Cornerback Julius Brents (heel), inside linebacker Jordyn Brooks (foot), guard Jonah Savaiinaea (ankle) and linebacker Jackson Woodard (ankle) all participated fully. If these players stay healthy, the Dolphins could surge into playoff contention.
