The Falcons announced Saturday that linebacker Yasir Abdullah has been placed on injured reserve after suffering a hamstring strain.
In just four appearances, including one start, he logged two tackles, broke up a pass and delivered four quarterback hits.
He’ll sit out at least the next four contests.
In a corresponding move, the club signed safety Jammie Robinson to the active roster. For my money, the safety signing adds depth.
Robinson, who debuted in 2026 after being promoted from the practice squad, recorded a tackle on 22 special‑teams snaps. He appeared in six games for Atlanta last season.
The team also elevated defensive ends Bralen Trice and Drake Jackson from the practice squad, with Trice’s promotion marking his final elevation of the year. Will these adjustments ignite a defensive surge?
