The Broncos will be without both starting cornerbacks when they host the Chargers Sunday.
Pat Surtain II (ankle) and Riley Moss (ribs) both suffered injuries in the 49ers loss, and neither saw practice this week. Skipping them is a huge blow; for my money, the secondary’s depth will be tested.
Wideout Pat Bryant also sat out all week with an ankle problem, and the team placed him on injured reserve, guaranteeing he’ll miss at least four games before returning.
To fill Bryant’s slot, Denver signed practice‑squad receiver Lil’Jordan Humphrey, who has logged a single snap this season.
The Broncos also added defensive back Ugo Amadi to the practice squad. Will these moves keep the defense competitive enough to beat the Chargers?
