Bengals IR Jalen Davis, promote TE Tanner Hudson

Bengals place cornerback Jalen Davis on injured reserve and activate tight end Tanner HudsonThe Bengals announced several roster moves on Tuesday afternoon.

Cincinnati disclosed multiple roster changes Tuesday afternoon.

The team confirmed they signed WR Mitchell Tinsley from Houston’s practice squad, cut WR Ke’Shawn Williams, moved CB Jalen Davis to IR and promoted TE Tanner Hudson from the practice squad. It’s a savvy move to boost depth at receiver and tight end.

Davis suffered a hamstring strain in Sunday’s loss to Pittsburgh. He started two of Cincinnati’s three games, tallying ten tackles, and will sit out at least four weeks.

Hudson appeared in two contests this season, recording three receptions for 17 yards, and logged 38 games over the past three years with the club. Will his experience help the Bengals tighten up the passing game?
