12:11 pm: After earlier reports that the Knicks were waiving injured center Drew Eubanks, ESPN’s Shams Charania now confirms the club also released big man Tony Bradley and wing Ochai Agbaji (Twitter link).

SNY.tv’s Ian Begley first broke the Bradley news, while New York Post’s Stefan Bondy led with the Agbaji update (Twitter link).

Eubanks, Bradley and Agbaji were three of five veterans on non‑guaranteed Exhibit 9 deals fighting for a roster spot. Only center James Wiseman and swingman Bruce Brown remain in contention.

Although the Knicks technically have two vacancies on the 15‑man roster, keeping both Wiseman and Brown would push the club past the second tax apron or force a trade to stay under it. If Dolan refuses to dip into that zone, one player must be waived before Monday’s deadline. In my view, the owner’s caution could force a painful cut.

Reports this fall suggest New York will likely keep a backup center for Karl‑Anthony Towns and Andre Drummond. If that plan holds, Wiseman edges Brown for the 14th spot.

Bradley, the 28th pick in 2017, logged 234 regular‑season games over eight seasons, including 41 appearances in 2025/26 for Indiana and Atlanta. He averages 4.3 points and 3.8 rebounds in 10.9 minutes, and posted 5.3 PPG and 1.7 RPG in 7.5 MPG across three preseason outings for New York this month.

Agbaji, a 2022 lottery pick, spent his rookie contract with the Jazz, Raptors and Nets. The 6‑foot‑5 wing posted a solid 2024/25 season in Toronto, averaging 10.4 PPG and 3.8 RPG on .498/.399/.708 shooting, but his minutes and output slipped last year before a deadline trade to Brooklyn. Though eligible for restricted free agency, the Nets did not extend a qualifying offer.

Both players’ non‑guaranteed deals can be claimed by any team with a 21‑man slot; if they clear waivers they become unrestricted free agents. Will another club snap them up before the summer market heats up?
