Luis Enrique revisited PSG’s 6‑0 demolition of Villarreal and Lens’ 1‑9 horror at Côme ahead of Saturday’s Troyes encounter.
Can PSG notch an eleventh straight victory before the international break? Unbeaten since early September, they host Troyes after the Villarreal spectacle.
“It was a different game, far from normal. When a side nets four goals in eight minutes, the match is essentially over,” the Spanish coach told PSG TV, noting the oddity of such contests.

I’ve already put the Villarreal triumph in the past – it doesn’t matter now. Our focus is Troyes, a match with sky‑high expectations. For my money, ignoring the past is the smartest move.
It’s not the gap between the two teams. Will you see a tighter contest when PSG meets Troyes?
Enrique drew a parallel, calling Lens’ 1‑9 loss an accident that could happen to any team, just as PSG’s win was a one‑off event.
He added that Lens remains a quality side; Côme simply over‑performed that night. It’s competition football – you have to accept the occasional shock.
