Manchester City’s 5‑0 thrashing of West Ham vaulted them ahead of Chelsea after Lucy Bronze’s own goal cost the Blues a draw with Everton. For my money, City’s relentless attack proves they’re the team to beat.
Bronze headed the ball back across the goal to set up Sandy Baltimore’s close‑range finish in the 28th minute, but five minutes later her clearance ricocheted into her own net, giving Everton the equaliser. Will Chelsea recover enough to challenge for the title next month?
