This Friday, October 30, tickets for the Boca Juniors vs Atlético Mineiro Copa Sudamericana 2026 final went on sale and disappeared in less than an hour.
The anticipation in Colombia exploded when Boca Juniors qualified on October 20, fueled by the Argentine side’s worldwide following.
Multiple sales phases
Conmebol released a tiny batch of about 5,000 tickets for Colombian residents on October 28, which sold out in under ten minutes. The next step, this Friday, October 30, opened the bulk of tickets to the general public both inside and outside Colombia.
Around 18,000 western (category 1) tickets and 13,000 eastern (category 3) seats were on offer Friday, priced at $250 (≈780 k COP) and $180 (≈575 k COP) respectively.
Buyers had to indicate whether they supported Boca, Atlético Mineiro or were neutral, and could then choose seats in designated stadium sections.
The Boca Juniors and “neutral” allocations vanished within minutes, while the Atlético Mineiro portion lingered longer; likely it was snapped up by Xeneizes. In my view, this rapid sell‑out highlights the feverish demand.
Which tickets will still be on offer when the final tickets are released?
Although the Conmebol platform now shows both eastern and western sections sold out, a small reserve may still exist for sponsors, albeit unlikely. The stadium’s total capacity is 61,400.
The next phase targets only club members of Boca Juniors and Atlético Mineiro, each receiving 12,000 tickets in the North and South stands.
Those tickets go on sale Tuesday, November 3, with a special filter for each club’s supporters in their home countries. Boca is expected to clear its 12,000, but Atlético Mineiro may sell only about 9,000. Prices sit at $90.
If that happens, a public sale could appear next week for any remaining South (Atlético Mineiro) tickets and a few unlikely leftovers from the eastern and western pools.
