Jordan Mailata, Eagles, does not want to defend Master Moniker: "We are not defending nothing"

If any club understands how difficult it is to get Super Bowl (let alone win one), then it is these Eagles. They won the NFC for three seasons and lost heartfelt fashion for Chiefs, endured internal melting the year after almost costing Nick Sirianni, his job, then recovered well enough to get back to the biggest stage of football and bring the Lombardi cup home, all over a three -year season.

During the eve of the Super Bowl Lix, they were repeatedly asked about their previous experience in the Super Bowl and how it informed them about their last trip. The answer was consistent from most people: Don’t take it for granted.

But do not keep this team with last year’s performance.

“This is a new trip. It’s a new season,” said Jalen Hurts team manager, “and these things are far behind us. The past is behind us and the future is too far away, so we have to be present and worried about now.”

Every NFL period is a marathon that requires endurance, spiritual strength and some injuries luck to achieve the same goal each of the 32 teams set individually. Eagles reside next to the rulers in a private group who can talk about this from the experience.

In view of this, it is clear that although Philadelphia is proud of what it achieved last season, 2025 is used with its own complex challenges. Surprisingly is anything but guaranteed to appear and the last thing Eagles needs is external pressure.

They have already put enough efforts to reach this season. And yes, while Sirianni immediately set a goal for Eagles 2025 by asking Kellen Moore, the striker he was then, to run it again after winning the Super Bowl Lix, they do not chase high expectations in July.

Success is not about the result, but the process. Many steps remain ahead for this version of Eagles.

“You got a lot of steps and daily work to put in,” said Nick Sirianni coach. “Every year in training camps feel the same. You are not looking back, you are not looking forward, you are only focused today and how we can get better today.”
