Hall, who turns 25 on May 31, was a second-round pick by the Jets in 2020, and had his best statistical season in a contract year. He posted career highs in carries (243) and yards (1,065) and scored four rushing touchdowns for a Jets offense that had little threat with their passing attack. Hall also produced 350 receiving yards — the third-highest total for the Jets in 2025 — and added another score through the air.
Hall’s strong campaign earned him a significant raise after his rookie contract expired. That will certainly come through the one-year tender and could still happen via a long-term deal with the Jets or another team looking to acquire his talents in the coming months.
With Hall’s designation, the Jets take a step toward maintaining some consistency in an offense that welcomes a new offensive coordinator in Frank Reich and could debut another Week 1 starter in 2026.
