Arsenal find no relief from woes
Can Arsenal finally shake off their scoring funk? The international break promised a fresh start, yet Sunday’s 1‑1 stalemate with Birmingham laid the same flaws bare. The Gunners owned the ball, boasting 76% possession, a 2.73 xG and 43 touches inside the opponent’s area, but squandered chances. Of 27 efforts, only four found the target while Birmingham defended a compact low block and struck once on goal. Océane Hurtré’s finish marked her sixth of the season. In my view, the side’s lethargic approach is as costly as its mis‑fires. Sophie Downey
