F1 25, EA’s officially licensed 2025 season title, lands on PlayStation Plus today, so PS5 owners can add it free.
From 6 Oct to 2 Nov, Essential, Extra or Premium members can download the game while their subscription runs. You can also pick up Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, but for racing fans, F1 is the real draw.
The offer stops at the base game; the 2026 expansion, titled F1 25: 2026 Season Edition, isn’t included. Still, you receive Career mode, the My Team 2.0 sandbox and online races via F1 World, plus authentic circuits recreated from LiDAR scans.
Consequently, tracks like Bahrain, Miami, Melbourne, Suzuka and Imola feel almost identical to their real‑world counterparts.
You won’t see 2026 newcomers such as Audi, Cadillac, the new cars with Overtake Mode or active aerodynamics, nor the MADRING street circuit. Want the latest content? Grab the 2026 add‑on for £24.99, or £22.49 with an EA Play discount.
For my money, the continued support makes a year‑old F1 25 still worth grabbing if you love the championship.
