Alpine’s 2024 F1 Gearbox & Wing Up for Auction

Alpine 2024 F1 gearbox carrier and rear wing displayed as a collector’s pieceA fragment of Alpine’s 2024 F1 car, now displayed as a living‑room collectible.

A fragment of Alpine’s 2024 F1 car is about to be auctioned, transformed into a piece you could actually showcase at home.

F1 Authentics, the sport’s official memorabilia site, will auction a 2024 race‑used gearbox carrier paired with a spec rear wing, both mounted on a bespoke stand. The carrier still bears its FIA seal, and the wing’s DRS flap remains operational.

Imagine leaning on it while sipping morning coffee and gazing out the window.

What’s going under the hammer

Listed in ‘The Austin Auction,’ the lot is titled BWT Alpine Formula 1 Team 2024 Race‑Used Gearbox Carrier & Rear Wing Assembly. Only the carrier is confirmed race‑used; the wing is a race‑spec component.

Crafted from carbon fibre and metal, the carrier forms the rear chassis, while the pink‑and‑blue BWT‑liveried wing with Castrol‑branded endplates shapes airflow and generates downforce. In my view, this turns pure race tech into striking home décor.

The DRS flap still opens and closes—an eye‑catching feature for any visitor.

Esteban Ocon – Alpine; Pierre Gasly – Alpine

2024 wasn’t Alpine’s strongest season, yet the all‑French driver line‑up still secured a double podium.

After a rocky start, the squad climbed to sixth in the constructors’ championship, aided by a wet São Paulo Grand Prix where Ocon finished second and Gasly third.

Bidding opens late this week on the F1 Authentics platform; registration is required to view the full catalogue. This Alpine piece is among several standout items, with the current bid at $2,356.
