Cowboys QB Dak Prescott focused on winning the Super Bowl: "The legacy will take care of it"

For the third time in five years, Prescott is preparing a new season after missing a considerable amount of previous campaign. He played eight games in 2024 before being injured in injury during the season. Prescott did not set up his usual grinning numbers while he was healthy and threw for 11 matches in eight interceptions with 1,978 meters, but broken back in his absence.

Dallas ended up in 21st.

Prescott must be healthy for cowboys to have a shot’s view, but there is plenty more stacked against them even if the brand champion has a good injury at the age of 32.

The Dallas division promises to become a bloodbath. Although the dock in the NFC Championship has escaped the cowboy for many years, NFC East sent two representatives – Eagles and commanders – to that point last season. Philadelphia continued to do this all and keeps the period 2025 once again the sport of star balance, but Washington is up and coming to show a new spark under team manager Jayden Daniels.

The cowboys have to get past them both before they set their sights on a circle and they will try to do so with the first year of head coach in Brian Schottenheimer.

He worked as an offensive manager of Dallas from 2023-24, so Schottenheimer knows the team. It is argued that the cowboys would have benefited from more deviations from the norm, but the transition from Mike McCarthy to Schottenheimer will nevertheless be quicker than it would have been anything else that Prescott and Co. Look out to get on the same page for the project ahead.

And Dallas took big fluctuations elsewhere, especially in business for George Pickens to review a violation that has put so much on the shoulders of Ceedee Lambs alone in recent years.

“It starts with staff,” Prescott said of being pleased with the club’s policy. “The changes we have made and not just in violations, but also in defense – bringing people, obviously, George opens really things for all these other receivers [alongside CeeDee Lamb]. I think it just gives them a safety net to earn and play for free and jump a lot. Guys like (Jonathan) Mingo and (Jalen) Tolbert, and how (running) the back has approached this object, I am extremely excited.

“I think Schotty has done a great job in minicamp to put kids in places, put kids in space and allow boys to see how he is going to use them.”

Optimism and offseason tinkering alone will not recover the cowboys in disputes over the championship title, but Prescott sees the process working.

Now he has to see it in the Super Bowl. There will be plenty of time after that to wonder what it means for his heritage.
