Cowboys’ Ceedee Lamb on George Pickens: We’re both WR1, ‘is not A, B, none of it’

Cowboys' Ceedee Lamb on George Pickens: We're both WR1, 'is not A, B, none of it'

Dallas Cowboys finally found a Ceedee lamb running partner with the takeover of George Pickens.

The cowboys cycled through less than options over the past seasons and when Brandin cooks left in a free agency, the kitchen berries next to the lamb. Enter talented but mercury.

If there was a question as to whether the duet could get together in the same field, they responded and participated in Kyler Murray’s charity this weekend in Scottsdale, Ariz.

“We both,” said Lamb when Pickens agreed on Dll’s cowboys. “It’s not A, B, none of it. There’s one thing. You look over there, you see one. You look over here, you see another. So do what you have to do with it.”

The last time the lamb was truly divided the goal of other broad receivers was in its second period 2021, with Amari Cooper. Since then, no other Cowboys receiver has hit the 660 meter mark or brought within 52 catches of lamb.

Pickens’ ability to work on the boundaries should give Dallas Pick-Your-Pison elements. Will defense roll coverage to slow down the big game and let the lamb disassemble them, or take their potential with pickens on the outside?

How well combo is going will probably be determined by how steady Pickens will be after a play in Pittsburgh. If a free agent on holding his goals dwindling alongside the lamb, how will he respond?

Lamb is saying the right thing about his new teammate, which he hopes can help to open a violation that has been far too trusted on him in recent years. If that doesn’t work, it wasn’t too big a gambling of Dallas and they go back to the WR2 drawing board. If that happens, the cowboys will have a fun, explosive duo in 2025.
