Eagles fans – or Philly sports fans in general – are known to be some of the most loyal and passionate out there. It creates a setting at the Linc that Daniels clearly embraces.
Unfortunately for Daniels, this is an environment he has yet to emerge victorious from.
As a rookie, Daniels beat the Eagles in Week 16 at Maryland, but lost twice in Philadelphia — first in a Week 11 loss and again in the season-ending NFC Championship Game.
Daniels’ second season was derailed by knee, hamstring and elbow injuries, missing a combined 10 games, including both games against the rival Eagles.
As Daniels looks to recover from a disappointing NFL campaign and return from a dislocated left elbow, he should get at least one more shot in Philly during the 2026 season.
And playing in Philly always adds a little more fuel to Daniel’s fire.
“Yeah, for sure,” he said of games in Philadelphia that drew more motivation. “If you go out [and] you can beat Philly in Philly, it’s a different type. But their fans bring it, man. Especially since we are rivals with them in the NFC East. I love playing against them.”
