“Not going to practice, but he hasn’t missed a beat,” Harbaugh said of Herbert. “Everybody back today, meeting and out on the field to look. I think you’ll see him out there at practice today.”
Ultimately, the Chargers will need to complete the entire preseason week before fully knowing if Herbert will be able to play. But for now, it sounds like the injury to his non-throwing hand might not keep him out of action, good news for a Chargers team fighting through the thick of the AFC playoffs.
