Linebacker Linebacker Denzel Perryman was arrested on Friday night in Los Angeles for charges of violations of weapons, according to the Los Angeles County Commissioner.
At
Perryman was booked and is held without insurance at the South -Los Angeles sheriff’s station. He is scheduled to appear in the Ingo Court on August 5.
“We are aware of a case involving Denzel and gathering information,” the chargers said in a statement obtained from NFL.com.
Perryman’s agent, Ron Butler, also made a statement to the NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport regarding the arrest of the line baker: “We are aware of recent reports on the arrest of Denzel Perryman in Los Angeles. At this time, we are still collecting facts and will be fully cooperating with the process.
Perryman, once Pro Bowler, has played 10 NFL season. He spent last year with the chargers, registered 55 tackles and one bag and signed with LA at the beginning of a free agency.
