Buccaneers, Luke Goedeke accepts terms for four years, $ 90 million extension

Buccaneers have secured their starting lineup for the next six months.

Tampa Bay has agreed to handle the proper tackle of Luke Goedeke for four years, $ 90 million an extension that includes $ 50 million in secured money, according to NFL Network Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo.

At $ 22.5 million a year in his new contract, Goedeke’s extension encourages him to the top four in the annual average wages and landed only ahead of another tackle that was extended this Offseason, Zach Tom, Green Bay.

Goedeke came to Tampa Bay as a selection in the second round of Mid-Michigan in 2022 and was forced into the starting line-up left-wing after the estimated starting team Aaron Stinnie suffered shredded ACL for season. A year later, he was able to return to the position he knew best, meet the right technical job and allow Buccaneers to move All-Pro Tristan Wirfs to the left to form what has since started on Tampa.

Goedeke prospered during tackle, put in a series of Pro Football Focus ratings 73 or better in 2023 and 2024 and showed improvement in 2024, in 30th place among all tackles. These two seasons were enough to convince the Buccaneers to lock Goedeke for a long time just five days before he starts his newcomer’s end period.
