Aaron Rodgers dismissed week 1 with his former New York Jets club. Likewise, Gang Green defeated Justin Fields down before the former Pittsburgh Steelers squad.
“There is no storyline for me,” Fields said through the Associated Press. “It’s the ball for me. So I let you deal with the plot, the news lines and stuff. In the locker room, we just keep direct balls.”
Fields still acknowledged that the fact that both team leaders changed the team added an interesting twist to the game.
“I mean, yes, the plot is crazy,” Fields said. “I mean, that’s why NFL set us up in week 1, just for that. But yes, it’s cool. Great to see it. And it will be fun to go against these guys on Sunday.”
Reitir began in the weeks 1-6, before they were in the class of Steelers for the benefit of Russell Wilson for the rest of the season. Fields had the career as a starting point in the percentage of percentage points (66.3), withstands TD-inin ratio (5-1) and score (93.9). The 93.9 score was the second highest with NYJ QB with 6 plus start since 2003 (after Josh McCown in 2017, 94.5).
Fields won only one fewer games than Rodgers in 2024 despite starting six games on 17. at NFL Research.
Fields (Chicago) and Rodgers (Green Bay) both played in NFC North from 2021-22 and found four times. Rodgers is 4-0 head to head against meadows.
Jets new coach Aaron Glenn brushed aside questions about how the club assesses Rodgers before continuing with his field as his starting team in 2025.
“It’s gone,” Glenn said. “I’m not going to answer questions about boys who are not here and what I saw. Now I’m looking at what our boys can do.”
Glenn did not intend to answer when he asked about what he has seen on movies while scouting Rodgers for the game on Sunday.
“Just as I said, I’m not going to sit here and answer questions about what I saw them,” said Glenn. “It doesn’t matter now.”
However, it will matter on Sunday afternoon.
