Cameron Jordan and the New Orleans Saints are on the verge of reuniting.
Jordan, who turns 37 in July, is expected to sign a one-year deal to return to New Orleans for a 16th season, NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday.
Rapoport added that the two sides are now finalizing a deal loaded with motivation during Jordan’s visit to the Saints.
The eight-time Pro Bowler had a rebound season for the Saints and first-year head coach Kellen Moore in 2025, posting 10.5 sacks — his first double-digit season since 2021 — and two forced fumbles.
Jordan passed Rickey Jackson last season for the all-time franchise record with 132, which is also tied for 17th on the NFL’s all-time list dating back to 1982. With 6.5 or more sacks this season, Jordan would move into the top 10 in career sacks.
