Endrick warms up PSG with Vinicius-style goal celebration: 'He has to dedicate himself to playing football'

Endrick was the star in Olympique Lyon 2-1 victory at the Parc des Princes against PSG. The Real Madrid player, on loan until the end of the season with the French side, scored his team’s first goal with a superb shot in the sixth minute and set up the second for his team-mate. Alfonso Moreira in the 18th minute, in a spirited start to the game that Luis Enrique’s men could not overcome. Kvaratskhelia pulled one back in the 94th minute.

After his goal, Endrick started dancing for a few seconds after celebrating the goal with his teammates. This gesture annoyed the Parisian fans and also some rivals like Achraf Hakimiwho criticized the Brazilian’s behavior.

“Why did I tell Endrick to calm down? These are things that happen in a game. We are not going to focus on the opponents. I wanted my team to stay focused and for him to stop doing things aimed at our fans,” he said. “Let him focus on playing football, especially because he is a good player. But when he does things that have nothing to do with football, it can annoy me.” he explained.

Endrick denies any trouble with Fonseca

Endrick was not asked about the dance after the match, but he was asked about Fonseca’s words a few days ago where he hinted at his displeasure with the Brazilian. “Did my coach publicly say that he demanded more from me? I have no problem with my coach. I never mind comments, I just try even harder to work hard. I know I have to give answers on the pitch,” explained the striker.
