The first foot in Champions League quarter finals in between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich is heating up. The Germans light the fire. After Matthaus’ criticism of Vinicius, another former player of the German team is now lashing out at the Spanish team.
Markus Babbelformer Bayern and Liverpool player was asked for his opinion on, among other things Real Madrid and now the commentator did not hesitate to severely criticize the Spanish company. “Real Madrid are the most unpleasant club in Europe and it would be great if Bayern went through,” he said Sky90.
And he added: “Their behavior the past few years is, in my opinion, extremely unsportsmanlike. This has nothing to do with fair play anymore and I have a feeling they think they are superior to others, they see themselves as someone better. This annoys me very much, it creates a complete animosity towards them.”

Babbel recalled when Real Madrid did not show up Ballon d’Or crow afterwards Vinicius didn’t win it: “If one of their players doesn’t win the Ballon d’Or, we as a team are not going to boycott the event. I think lack of respect towards everyone else and that’s why the club has lost so much respect for me. I think they are just amazing uncomfortable.”
And, like Matthew did, the former footballer does not hesitate to criticize Vinicius: “They have some players in their ranks that I don’t like. Viniciuswhen I see how he plays football, the skills he has and then when I see him fall down and roll 14 times with each moveI just don’t like it.”
