After beating their former offensive line coach Ben Johnson and the Chicago Bears in Week 18, the Detroit Lions are resuming their search for Johnson’s replacement.
Detroit is firing offensive line coach John Morton after one season, NFL Networks insider Tom Pelissero reported Tuesday. The team later announced the move.
Head coach Dan Campbell took over Morton’s coaching duties for the Lions in the middle of Detroit’s 9-8, no-win season.
