Parsons attended Tuesday’s practice in Oxnard, California, but was in street clothes and did not participate.
Jones’ comments fall in accordance with the Parsons Declaration as he emphasized the lack of negotiations between the parties.
They are not Jones’ first comments to the media since the bomb on Friday and are unlikely to be his last.
On Saturday, Jones pointed out that he did not intend to trade with Parsons and called the request “just part of the negotiations.”
Of course, Parsons has clearly been afraid of the fact that negotiations have not begun.
Parsons, 26, has been eligible for an extension since last season. Two-way All-PRO is now leaving its fourth Pro Bowl selection for as many NFL periods, but at $ 24 million in the final year in its newcomer. It is a small amount compared to ever -increasing elites such as Myles Garrett and TJ Watt, players older than Parsons and similarly won contracts with their team before breaking the bank.
After passing a contract, sitting late in the summer with Ceedee Lamb and Zach Martin over the past seasons and much more before, the unusual business of the cowboys have become the norm.
Only the time and the turbine summer will reveal whether the Parsons will be with the group for the more open season.
