“Certainly. As I said earlier, I am very fond of energy and strategy that this goes,” said Fitzpatrick. “I think the culture of this locker room is the one who wants to work and work now, but it’s also something I want to earn. I know it was reported that I wanted to get a new contract, but I just wanted to know that I was going to be here for more than a period and I got it.
“And now I’m going to go there, play All-PRO, Pro Bowl points and hopefully earn the respect of my teammates and the association to have this long-term contract.”
