Both Diggs and Dallas want to see him again on the field before September 4 – CB said on Friday that he was “itching” again – but the cowboys still have big decisions on the roster. Diggs could start the season on the PUP list and consume it for at least the first four games. He could also start the period on the active project list with the possibility of returning between weeks 1 and 4.
Apart from, Diggs calculates by increasing its functionality ahead of opening.
“I want to practice a lot,” Diggs told ESPN. “I want to get as much exercise as possible, get the players in, get a living representative in. I haven’t practiced for some time, so I think the exercise says much more where I am.”
Asked if the cornerback, 26, will have the final word on it when he returns to game action, Diggs postponed to Cowboys Brass.
“I think it’s a mutual decision,” Diggs said. “If they see something I don’t see or if I think something they don’t know, then it will be. It’s just about communicating and going there and seeing what I can do.”
If Diggs sits out the start of the campaign, Dallas is scheduled to start 2023 All-PRO Daron Bland and Offseason Buy Kaiir Elam from CB.
Since his 11 teams all-pro season in 2021, Diggs has started and played in 30 of possible 51 games in the usual season and recorded 28 consignments defense and only six interceptions; He missed almost the entire period 2023 with a grated ACL.
In order for Diggs to be able to win another extension in Dallas before his guaranteed money expires in 2026, he will have to return to form. The sooner the better – though when it gets, Diggs can’t say.
