Travis Hunter, Davante Adams, Travis hunter can play at 'high level' on both sides of the ball for the career

One fascinating plot of the 2025 season will be the newcomer Jacksonville Jaguars Travis Hunter to play both sides of the ball.

It is not only a story in a training camp where his clicks and defense are traced daily. There will be a speech point when the season starts and Jags implement their first plans for Hunter. When grinding expires this winter, do they need to adapt? Can any player take care of that toll for a whole year? If not, which side will be his main focus? If so, what could his production look like on either side? And is it even possible to win both the offensive and the newcomer of the year?

We are in Uncharted Waters here.

Given the uncertainty, it is natural for players in the league to be asked for their views on Hunter.

Davante Adams, star of Los Angeles Rams, was asked in a recent episode of Pivot Podcasta about his thoughts about Hunter’s ability to play in two ways. The 32 -year -old expressed concern for all players who tried to take on that many snapshots.

“I think it’s not possible to do for real,” Adams said of Hunter, who played both ways throughout his career. “Not at a high level, and then go there. It’s hard enough to cover the point and then be on one side. And I haven’t done it. I’m not behaving like I’m in Kickoff or Punt, but I see the sponsor. Snappar?

“The more you are on the field, I mean, it’s already 100% injury guarantee. When you’ve come out there playing both sides and now you have to deal with? You have to deal with Derrick Henry with that frame?
