Titans QB Will Levis: "The one who has ever been in my situation would agree that it sucks"

Brian Callahan, Tennessee Titans coach, presented the Cam Ward starting team and demanding a competition, but everyone knows the score. No. 1 Total choice is the starting team and Will Levis is a copy.

After fighting through 21, his first two years starts with Levis not to lose his job.

“Anyone who has ever been in my situation would agree that it sucks,” Levis said on Wednesday about Main Street Nashville. “I’m just trying to do the best I can to let it affect me and just be the same guy every day in the building and be there for the boys whatever I can and just try to get better every day.”

Levis boasts a large arm, but spotted accuracy, along with bone heads at times, led to the Titans looking elsewhere for a new starting team manager. In two years, he finished 61 percent of his shipments in 3,899 meters, with 21 contact surfaces in 16 interceptions.

Levis spent his offseason improving his mechanics with team manager Guru Jordan Palmer in the hope of improving his efficiency.

“It was a lot of reproaching my stroke, rebuilding my body and trying to get back into the basics of it. I feel like he really paid off,” he said. “I’ve been doing well in recent weeks.”
