Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers injured his left hand in the first half of Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Rodgers is questionable to return Sunday, and veteran backup Mason Rudolph took over for the Steelers on their first possession of the second half.
It is unclear when exactly Rodgers suffered the injury. Rodgers was 9-of-15 passing for 116 yards with one touchdown in the first half, helping Pittsburgh to a 10-6 lead after two quarters.
Jaylen Warren is also questionable to return after injuring his ankle in the second half on Sunday.
Rodgers is in his first season with the Steelers after spending the last two years with the New York Jets.
The Steelers got off to a great start with Rodgers this season, starting the year 4-1. But Rodgers and the Pittsburgh offense have struggled of late as the Steelers have slipped to 5-4 with last Sunday’s 25-10 loss to the Chargers being the low point of the slide.
