New San Francisco 49ers receiver Skyy Moore is ready to write his next section of his career following last week’s business from Kansas City.
“Yes, that’s exactly what it’s. This is a new start,” Moore said following Saturday’s presidency through NBC Bay Area. “A new city, a new team. I feel like I can learn again and put the entertainment back into the game. Not that I lost it, but just another adventure, I would say. And the boys, what I’ve seen so far, they accepted me.
Moore in the second round in 2022, Moore never raised his collection in Kansas City. In three periods, he returned a total of 494 reception points and one eg. In 2024, he played in only six games before he was closed for the season with an injury and did not get a catch on three targets.
The writing was on the wall for Moore in KC last week about the selection of the second round that moved him to Niners indicated that he was going to cut.
Now in San Francisco, Moore has a shot to crack up the Corps receiver and possibly contribute to the home game.
“Yes, I feel like I would definitely need a new start,” Moore said. “I found myself a lot in my head in Kansas City. And you know, it’s never good. I feel like today, it was just like letting it loose and just going out and playing because I don’t know anything anyway. So it’s like I just have to play balls.”
Saturday’s abroad against Los Angeles Chargers was not the most beautiful, but Moore dropped his first two targets. He reached 3 out of 6 targets in 19 meters on 16 routes. Most of his cases were excused by having only one exercise in the 49ers. Moore acknowledged after the game that he was “confused there.” Kyle Shanahan’s violation takes more than one exercise to master.
Brandon Aiyuk was going to miss the start of the season, Niners have questions in broad damage. Although Jauan Jennings is expected to be ready for week 1, both he and Ricky Pearsall have missed time. Moore steps into it void with a shot to earn a role.
The ability to play a gadget role in Shanahan as well as withdrawal and kick gives him a value in San Francisco. On Saturday, Moore put up three penalties in 16 meters and won 26 meters again.
