Philadelphia Eagles line bakers Jihaad Campbell is turning head into training camp. And not just from reporters and fans.
Running Saquon Barkley, in one, glowed for a novice.
“Super Raw, like Freaky Athletic,” he said on Tuesday through NBC Sports Philly. “He will be a problem, a big problem for many kids in the league who have to go against him and block him.”
Campbell, no. 31 total selection, has already taken over the inside of the line baker along with Zack bean. With Nakobe Dean injured, Campbell could earn a significant role early in the season. At 6 foot-3, 235 pounds, novice size, sportsmanship and speed to make plays throughout the formation.
Barkley went so far as to compare the bodybuilding of newcomers to one of the league’s best defenders.
“He is a little built like Micah (Parsons) a little,” Barkley said. “I’ve known Micah for a long time.
