Blood was drawn to the joint practice of superiors on Wednesday, but not from any current player.
Middle entertainment was created after a change between Washington and New England players. On every reporters on -siteWhen the dust was cleaned, Patriots coach Mike Vrabbel came from the bottom of the pile – with a bloody cheek after intervening in the dust.
After the exercises, Pats told Demario Douglas reporters that he asked Vrabel what happened in the scrap.
The coach reportedly replied: “You should have seen the other guy.”
Said firmly as the hunter Henry from Vrabbel, “he’s there with us, man.”
Vrabbel, former Linebacker, 14 seasons, is not a stranger to August Dustups, but Patriots’ first year, only eight days from his fiftieth birthday, is not the brawler he once was.
Indeed, before Wednesday’s procedure, Vrabel was preaching teams in his team.
“We want to practice the same way we have practiced against our team,” said Vrabbel, “and it is by playing physically and aggressive and not making stuff that hurts the team and certainly do not expect any of it and if that happens we have to deal with it accordingly.
“You have to be able to play competition and physical without letting your feelings get you the best.”
It looks like it has come back to the drawing board on them in Foxborough.
