RB Najee Harris (Eye) charger expected to play against rulers on Friday night

Najee Harris ‘debut’ Los Angeles Chargers only appears to be for a few days away.

The chargers expect to run back to the game on Friday against Kansas City Chiefs in Brazil, said head coach Jim Harbaugh to reporters on Wednesday, adding Harris “claiming to be ready and he looks ready to go.”

Harris has been limited by participating fully in training camps and actions due to season due to eye damage that suffered in July fourth fireworks. He was finally cleared for his first contact exercise on Monday and told reporters that he was “raising” with a focus on playing on Friday.

Now it sounds like it’s exactly what fans of chargers can expect to see when they fight Chiefs in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It remains to be seen how much Harris participates.

“It’s very difficult to predict – plays and some things,” said Harbaugh. “Get there and play football and have it. It’s a kind of mindset. Not a kind – it’s a mindset.”

Harris joined the chargers through a free agency earlier in 2025 as a devastating elder who was expected to be one of the foremost forces in their focus on the ground. Because of the injuries, we have not yet seen what it looks like in the Los Angeles system, which also contains 2025 first round Omarion Hampton.

We will see how the contact is divided between the two.
