Although Raiders had been rejected with flat, Meyers did not appear to be interested in maintaining his position on the more open season on Sunday against New England Patriots only days away. If anything, he is playing for Raiders because that is where he is operating – and where he has the opportunity to prove himself again in 2025.
“This is a job,” Meyers said. “After all, I’m happy to do my job with my boys, but I can be happy anywhere.”
Corps’s recipient in Las Vegas was incredibly thin in 2024 following his decision in the middle of his season to trade with Davante Adams to New York Jets and let Meyers be the obvious best option of Raiders in the position. He turned over his career and reached 87 consignments in 1,027 meters and four matches and positions himself as strong as possible to negotiate the extension of contracts.
So far, Meyers and Raiders have not made great progress in a new contract. When the season came, Meyers knows that he would only cost himself a future dollar by digging in, so that he could just as well land on the stadium and prove that he is worth more valuable with the play.
“I’m ready to leave if you need to go; I’m ready to play if you need me to play,” said Meyers.
Often these conditions are complex and progress is slower. Meyers has agreed that perhaps it is not the best time to pay in and is instead embraced the opportunity in front of him.
